IB Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)

The IB Middle Years Programme at Emirates International School - Jumeirah is a uniquely crafted curriculum that supports the holistic growth of our students with the core elements of the MYP Programme imbedded within all disciplines so that our students are celebrated for their diverse thinking, their creativity, their entrepreneurship skills and their in innovative approaches to learning beyond the classroom walls.

We aim to develop active lifelong learners and internationally minded young people who can empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose and meaning.

The IB Middle Years Programme at Emirates International School - Jumeirah builds upon the skills and learning developed in the IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and aligns itself with the skills required in the Diploma Programme (IB DP) the Careers Related Programme (IB CP).

Throughout our MYP Programme, we facilitate the inquiry based learning model culminating, in Years 10 and 11 when our students have the option to follow the rigor of E Assessments and E Portfolio subjects allowing them to graduate with the IB MYP Certificate.
