Christopher McDermott

Christopher McDermott is an internationally regarded educator and a former National Leader for Education for England and Wales. He has extensive international experience as a Principal, in the UK and in Dubai. He is a qualified school inspector as well as a renowned Educational consultant in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

Dr Lejla (Leila) Vrazalic

Lejla joined EISJ in 1992 and was in the first cohort of IB graduates in the UAE in 1994. She went to the University of Wollongong in Australia where she spent 10 years and completed her PhD, working as a lecturer at the University. She also taught in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

In 2004, she joined the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), first as a lecturer and later as the Chair of the College of Undergraduate Studies. In 2014, she set up an educational consultancy and now works for the Ministry of Education in the UAE and the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority.

Noman Qureshi
Noman Qureshi

Currently, Noman is heading a System Integration company in the capacity of Chief Operation Officer. He is a graduate of Kent Business School - University of Kent England, a seasoned management consultant, a responsible decision maker with experience in managing large-scale transformational change, digitization and risk management. During his vast career, Noman has gained international experience through various assignments across Europe, Middle East and Asia, making him well versed in both, regional and western cultures. Noman’s passion is motivating others; driving cross-functional and diverse global teams to deliver superior results.

Noman has been an EISM parent for the past 5 years, his three children study in the PYP and MYP programmes. He is passionate about providing a happy, calm and nurturing school community, an inclusive education for all and a stimulating learning environment in which all contribute.

Noman had served in the governing body of a Primary School in England for five years and proud to be associated with EISM Board.
