High School Additional School Activities
In High School we have developed a strong and varied ASA Programme to meet the needs of all our students and their varied interests.
Our current provision has something for everyone whether it involves the application of academic, cultural, practical, artistic, linguistic or creative skills. All activities are to compliment, support or develop the IB Philosophy by offering activities which fulfil the needs of all students whilst encouraging the acquisition of life-long learners, here at school.
We utilise the vast experience and expertise of our staff and carefully chosen external providers to offer high quality, valuable and enjoyable activities. We have also visited off site venues to ensure that health and safety regulations are in place for all activities.
ASA’s offer a wide range of activities which offer enrichment and compliment a student’s learning experience. We also offer several sporting activities and clubs for students to be part of and represent the school in Dubai Schools competitions. Some are fun whilst others are at a competitive level and require more expertise and skill.
We have MUN, World Scholars Cup and we offer the International Duke of Edinburgh Award to students. ASA’s take place each evening from 3.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Some events may take place at the weekends and so the schedule of activities is fluid and changes each term.
