High School: Graduation
High School graduation at Emirates International School, Meadows is a celebration of the academic and personal achievements of the IB students. In 2010 the school honoured the accomplishments of our second cohort of students. Attended by students, staff, parents and distinguished members of the school's board the event provides lasting memories of our students' academic years at EIS-Meadows. Students continue their academic journey as they attend prestigious universities in the UK, USA, UAE, Canada and various other locations around the globe.
The graduation comprises of a series of speeches from selected individuals from the staff and student body to commemorate the completion of the IB program. Talented students showcase their musical ability as part of the proceedings as well as a recital of the Qur'an from a selected student. Finally a number of individual awards are presented to students who have achieved distinction in the following categories:
- The Valedictorian award: Highest academic attainment within the group.
- Principal's Award: Student who has shown continued support and positive attitude to the development of school life for the community.
- IB Coordinator's award: Student who has embraced the ethos and philosophies of all aspects of the IB program.
