Junior School Evaluation System
In the Primary and Junior School, teachers usually make formal assessments of the
students' progress twice a year. Student knowledge, understanding and skills are
assessed through written assessments and further informal, continuous assessment
is made by the teachers through weekly quizzes (e.g. spelling and mental mathematics
/ check-ups), assessed activities and through observations throughout the year.
EIS-Meadows does not provide an exam based curriculum in the Primary and Junior
School however we will run externally moderated evaluations of students' language
and mathematics skills starting this year.
