Principal's Message

Please allow us to be the first to welcome you to Emirates International School - Meadows. As a potential new parent or student to the school, we extend to you a particularly warm welcome to our international community comprising over 80 different nationalities of students.

At EIS-M we aim to nourish individual ability within a responsible community and to encourage academic success, physical health, moral stability and a commitment to creativity, action and service. EIS-M provides an ideal setting in which children can learn, grow and develop into the kind of responsible and responsive self-starters, which the new millennium is seeking.

The school recently achieved full CIS accreditation marking us as a high quality educational establishment true to the ethos of international education. We are proud of our 21st Century outlook as well as our tradition of being the sister school of the first authorized IB school in Dubai. We are a fully authorized IB Diploma school ourselves and candidate school for the IB Middle Years Programme and IB Primary Years Programme as well as currently offering a programme of IGCSEs and GCSEs in Grades 10 and 11.

As an IB World School and accredited CIS school we are committed to the holistic development of each student. Every member of the staff plays a part in the student's academic, social and personal development. Emphasis is placed on the IB Learner Profile, the aim of which is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet help to create a better and more peaceful world. In fact a student led initiative in the last year was the introduction of a Reward System focused on celebrating achievement in the areas of being
