High School: Overview
The High School was the first in Dubai to offer the International Baccalaureate
(IB) Diploma Programme having received IB authorisation as an "IB World School"
in 1992. Since our first graduating class in 1993 through to 2009, we have entered
659 candidates in the IB Diploma Programme. An impressive 613 students were awarded
the IB Diploma.
The High School provides co-educational classes from Grade 7 to 13 for students
aged 12 to 18. Our student population numbers 900 from more than 80 countries speaking
over 55 different languages.
The academic faculty numbers 110 plus support staff. The academic faculty is drawn
from 22 countries. All academic staff members hold subject specific degrees and
a relevant education qualification.
